Ben 10: Ultimate Alien takes place a few weeks after the events of the previous series. With the Omnitrix having been destroyed in the series finale of Alien Force, Ben Tennyson, now sixteen years old, must learn to master the powers of the Ultimatrix, a modified version of the Omnitrix which has the ability to evolve Ben's alien forms into much more powerful versions known as \"ultimate forms.\" The series begins with the exposure of Ben's secret identity to the world by J. Jonah \"Jimmy\" Jones, a young internet conspiracy theorist who deduces his identity by studying alien sightings in Ben's hometown of Bellwood. Ben's exposure polarizes public opinion, with younger fans idolizing him, and adults (particularly news anchor Will Harangue) deriding Ben as a menace to society. Ben is now forced to adjust to a new life that not only involves battling the forces of evil alongside his cousin Gwen Tennyson and his best friend Kevin Levin, but also his struggle against the pitfalls of his new-found fame.
The first season of Ultimate Alien revolves around an Osmosian villain named Aggregor, who kidnaps five powerful aliens from the Andromeda Galaxy in order to steal their powers. Although Ben and his team try to stop Aggregor, he succeeds in absorbing the aliens into himself, becoming virtually unstoppable. Ben then learns from Azmuth, the creator of the Omnitrix and Ultimatrix, that Aggregor's goal is to find the scattered pieces of the Map of Infinity, a map of spacetime which can lead him to a realm known as the Forge of Creation. Aggregor intends to enter the Forge of Creation and steal the powers of an infant Celestialsapien, a species of omnipotent, godlike aliens which can manipulate reality and time to an essentially unlimited extent with their thoughts.
Aggregor manages to reach the Forge of Creation and the team pursues him. They are nearly defeated by Aggregor, but Kevin, as a last resort, absorbs the powers of the Ultimatrix and is able to defeat Aggregor, absorbing his powers in the process. Unfortunately, the absorption of too much power overwhelms Kevin, leading him to insanity and an unquenchable thirst for more power. This leads to a stand-off between him and Ben, who, after failed attempts at tracking and saving Kevin, resolves to kill Kevin to prevent him from hurting anyone. But with the aid of Gwen, he is able to instead remove Kevin's absorbed powers, saving him and restoring the five aliens from the Andromeda Galaxy back to life.[2]
The second season features primarily self-contained stories, including an episode in which Ben's ultimate forms achieve sentience and attempt to free themselves from within the Ultimatrix by trapping Ben within it. Ben decides to sacrifice himself so that the ultimates can be free; instead, the Ultimatrix recognizes his selflessness and frees both him and the ultimates.
Ultimate Forms are the evolved forms of various Ultimatrix aliens, used primarily by Ben in Ultimate Alien and Albedo in Omniverse. All Ultimates have enhanced powers and abilities.
The \"Evolutionary Function\" works by placing the DNA of the selected alien in a simulated scenario, subjecting it to the worst-possible threat over millions of theoretical years in order to \"force\" evolution in the genetic code to the species' ultimate evolved form.[DM 1] The resultant evolutionary adaptations to this fictional threat scenario are then modified into the existing DNA of the selected alien, thus evolving it into the new Ultimate Form.
The Ultimate Forms are not found within the Codon Stream because, strictly speaking, they do not exist in the Prime Timeline as a collectible species. Rather, they are by-products of pre-existing alien DNA.[DM 2][DM 3][DJW 1]
To activate the Ultimate form, Ben transformed into an alien and then pressed the Ultimatrix symbol (occasionally rotating it counterclockwise before pressing), which made it unsheathe its four spikes in a diagonal directional formation. Ben was then consumed by a bright green luminescent energy field and went Ultimate. Ben generally used the Ultimate feature when a normal alien's powers were insufficient for the situation at hand.
To activate the Ultimate form, Albedo selects an alien and activates the transformation function, just like on the original Ultimatrix. However, he is immediately transformed into the Ultimate form directly of that alien without activating them in-between regular forms. Instead of green, the light Albedo is consumed in is red.
Ben's secret identity has been revealed to the world and he is now an international mega-star super hero, loved by kids all-over the world, but distrusted by some adults such as reporter Will Harangue. Armed with a mysterious, more powerful Omnitrix called the Ultimatrix, Ben will face being hunted by rogue alien threats, human mercenaries, and assassins hired by opposing adults. Ben will be in places he has never been before; such as the Forge of Creation. The main enemy of the first season is named Aggregor who is after the \"Ultimate Prize\".
Main Article: Theme Song (Ultimate Alien)The theme song is notable for showing an in-artstyle still of every transformation ever seen in the franchise up to that point, despite some of them not ever appearing in the show. It also shows the five Andromeda aliens and the first six Ultimate Forms.
The main difference between this and Ben 10: Alien Force is that Ben now uses the Ultimatrix, a prototype modified version of the Omnitrix with the ability to turn his aliens into stronger versions of themselves. Additionally, Ben's Secret Identity is revealed to the world, resulting in him becoming a worldwide celebrity, loved by the kids but distrusted by adults.
In the first season, the protagonists have to deal with five aliens from the Andromeda Galaxy who escaped to Earth after being kidnapped by a mysterious Osmosian (Kevin's species) criminal named Aggregor, who attempts to absorb all of them for a mysterious purpose.
Absorb the aliens he captured and gain their powers (succeeded; then failed).Obtain the Map of Infinity, so he can enter the Forge of Creation (succeeded; then failed).Absorb a baby Celestialsapien to obtain its god-like abilities and use its power to rule the universe.Kill Ben Tennyson, Gwen Tennyson and Kevin Levin and anyone who stands in his way (all failed).
He is an Osmosian warlord who seeks five aliens from the Andromeda Galaxy in order to absorb their powers so he can obtain the Map of Infinity, allowing him to enter the Forge of Creation, where he can absorb the powers of a baby Celestialsapien, and use it to become omnipotent and conquer the universe.
A violent, arrogant, manipulative, and malevolent Osmosian, Aggregor's evil was that which made even Ben Tennyson take him seriously. Sadistic, unsympathetic, ruthless, and callous, Aggregor's selfish pursuit of power has destroyed many innocent lives and was remorseless in kidnapping peaceful aliens, just so he could abuse their powers for his own advantage. He is willing to do whatever it takes to get his powers, even if he has to betray, manipulate, and kill to get his way.
Aggregor's race is the same as Ben's current friend Kevin Levin (they are both members of a subspecies of humans called Osmosians). His powers are mostly the same as Kevin's-matter absorption and energy manipulation. Aggregor is also noted for his high intelligence, demonstrated in how he tricked the protagonists to reach his goal for him, and his genre savviness. He used his powers to activate a time transporter to absorb his captor's powers and succeeded. He is more of an intergalactic threat than Ben's ultimate nemesis, Vilgax. Like Vilgax, though, Aggregor also uses droid minions.
Aggregor first appeared in the Ben 10: Ultimate Alien first episode \"Fame\". He first appeared after Ben defeated one of his captives, Bivalvin, and then captured him. He had five alien captives: Bivalvin, Galapagus, P'andor, Andreas and Ra'ad, and intended to absorb all of their powers. In the tenth episode of Ultimate Alien, he took his captives to Los Soledad to finally absorb their powers and succeeded (after ignoring the warning from Ben's former nemesis and current best friend, Kevin). The reason for absorbing his captives is to gain their powers (to become Ultimate Aggregor) in order to find four pieces of an artifact called the Map of Infinity in order to find a place known as the Forge of Creation.
He finds the first piece of the Map of Infinity in the episode with the same name in a temple full of traps on a planet that's half sun-like and half frozen. He finds the second piece of the map in the episode \"Deep\". He finds the second piece on an all-water planet. The third piece is found in \"Where The Magic Happens\", where he takes the piece from the warlord from Charmcaster's home dimension (also the warlord that Aggregor took the piece of the map from is the same race as one of his alien captors, Galapagus). The fourth and final piece of the map is found in a planetoid known as the Perplexahadron in the episode with the same name from its guardian known only as the Sentinel. He finally finds the Forge of Creation in the episode with the same name and his \"Ultimate Prize\" was revealed to be a newly born Celestialsapien. He fights off both 10 and 16-year-old Ben, Gwen and Kevin, then proceeds to absorb the newborn Celestialsapien. But as he was about to absorb ultimate power, he was stopped by a once again mutated Kevin, having absorbed the Ultimatrix from 16-year-old Ben to stop him (even though 10-year-old Ben offered him to absorb his Omnitrix) and then, after he had gotten Aggregor away from Alien X, Kevin gets the upper hand on him and then absorbs Aggregor's powers as well, reverting Aggregor back to his normal state, having him finally defeated and left him lying unconscious. After that, Aggregor's fate is left undetermined. It was later revealed in \"Night of the Living Nightmare\" that he is currently incarcerated. 59ce067264
